In the near future, I think the white tiger will adapt in several ways due to climate change. Mangrove swamps, the tiger's habitat, could become submerged with water causing the tiger to become fully aquatic. If the tiger spends his life in water he will adapt to become lighter because he does not need the weight and he can move faster. In addition to changing its body weight the tiger will have to change the color of its fur to blend in with the new environmental color palette. A future tiger also needs to have webbed feet, stronger tail, and fins to move more efficiently through water. Dormaalocyon Latouri is thought to be the common ancestor of all meat eating carnivores and existed 55 million years ago. Based on that information I predict that the tiger will take 15 million years to adapt. Source:Tiger safari india
