Black Leopard

The black leopard also known as the “black panther” lives in the hot tropical rainforests of south and southeast Asia. In the future, I predict that its habitat will become a savannah. This is because of their similarities to the savannah black jaguar which is also known as the black panther. They both have black coats and are carnivores. Also, they both are already living in fairly hot climates. Which was why I did not change most parts of the black leopard as they are so similar to an already existing savannah animal. One thing that is different though, the savanna has much less shadows unlike the rainforest which may cause them to shift coat colors over time in order to blend in better with the surroundings. But changes will not be super drastic as the climate is not too different as well as the prey.
