The Emperor Tamarin

I was supposed to pick a creature that lives in the rainforest, research it, draw it in its current and future habitat that I picked out, and write about it. I chose the Emperor Tamarin. It lives in the southwest Amazon Basin,in lowland and mountain rainforests. It lives in Peru, Brazil and Bolivia. Its present adaptations include a Prehensile tail and Dichromatic vision. The Emperor Tamarin will evolve to live in a mixed woodlands environment. This will happen because climate change will make everything hotter and drier. It will compete with squirrels because they are so similar. It will potentially disrupt the ecosystem because we have forced it to adapt to live in this environment. The Emperor Tamarin lives in lowland and mountain rainforests. It will live in mixed woodlands, eating nuts, fruits and insects, and with a long tail and sharp claws.
