Future Creature - Puma

My future creature animal is a puma. A puma is a mammal that comes in many different colors. They eat rats, deer, sheep, and many bigger animals. They live in the mountains, forests, jungles, and lush rainforests across the Americas. They have many adaptations including sharp retractable claws, long teeth, flexible spines, strong back legs, coats of fur, and much more. But after climate change puts these animals and environments in danger, they must adapt. When this happens pumas will live in mixed woodlands. I picked this because they already have many adaptations that help them live in this environment. They will have new adaptations including camouflage to blend in, becoming nocturnal so they can surprise attack and hunt easier, reducing their size so they can fit in more places, being able to swim, and being able to eat plants because it may be hard to find large animals here.
