Gigas Aranea Luter

The giant otter currently lives in the Amazon Rainforest which already has a high amount of water and has been flooded many times. My future Creature is set to live in the mangrove swamp 55 years in the future. Because global warming is affecting the planet, the ice caps are melting and water is flooding more areas of Earth, making giant rainforests have too much water and become dense swamps over time. The adaptations that I believe will happen to the giant otter are that it will become nocturnal, it will have a small tail, infrared eyesight to see predators, and bigger ears for better hearing, and its tiny nails will turn into claws, and bigger teeth to rip meat more easily, my future creature will eat fish such as the mangrove snapper, crabs, and other mangrove fish.
