The platypus, one of the world's most exotic animals, has multiple adaptations that help it survive in the wild. It has venomous claws, webbed feet, a big tail, and electroreceptors. These adaptations allow it to survive in various environments, including the tropics and snows. However, if we continue harming the environment, the platypus may become a land animal, with no old adaptations and relying on insects. This could affect both humans and the environment. The platypus will become lizard-like with a scaly back. HIs tail will no longer be to swim through the rivers but to impress female partners. If this becomes a reality not only will the platypus be affected we will be too. Without fresh water to consume or a drop of water.
