My animal is a basilisk. They live in trees in the rain forest and eat flowers, fruit, rodents, and other lizards. They breathe oxygen through their lungs and they get water with their mouths. Their babies hatch from eggs. They also hide in trees. They're special adaptation is running on water. After global warming basilisks will live in a burrow to hide from predators in the rainforest. They breathe through a flap of skin on their neck into a pocket of air on their back so they can breathe underwater. They will be marsupial which means they will carry their baby in a pocket. I think it will be drier, so they will get water by storing water on a second hump on their back. They will eat insects, leaves, and dead animals.
