The great King Cobra snake living in the marshy wetlands found it's home slowly getting wetter and wetter due to the rising of sea levels until it is full submerged underwater 1000 years later. During this time period, the King Cobra snake has adapted to continue living in the same area. The snake has developed gills to breath underwater, the hood gradually shortened to lower water resistance when it's chasing its prey and the scales turn blue to blend in with the aquatic environment. These adaptations allow the King Cobra to continue to survive in the wild in the aqueous environment.
