The poison has many adaptations to survive. One very important adaptation is their bright colors and spots on their backs. The bright colors and dots give predators warnings to stay away because they are poisonous. This poison that they contain could lead to paralyzing or even killing predators, so many predators stay away. Poison dart frogs are not very good swimmers; they don’t have webbing between their toes and feet so they often are not in water and more on trees and leaves. Normal frogs often stay in the water. Over time if trees are cut down they will have no habitat and will only have water left. They can adapt over time to swimming but the problem is since frogs do not matter what kind, they have very thin skin so they can get things consumed into them like pollution that comes from cutting trees etc.
