Capybaras live in the wet rainforest. The rainforest turns to a savanna. How will it survive? It usually eats reeds, grains, melons and squashes. But since it is dry, melons and squashes won't be able to grow and it might be a bit harder for the reeds and grains. The capybara will now evolve and have to adapt. They can be carnivores which means they will eat meat. The capybaras can get the meat from other animals in the rainforest that it can hunt and kill. They will have to find a way to get water from a small pond or river nearby. They will have to change their teeth to be able to kill animals and get meat to survive.
