Imagine in a 1000 years that eastern Venezuela is completely under water, and the Giant Leaf Frog has undergone a lot of changes since their environment has changed. Some major changes of the frog are a light almost translucent color of their skin to be better hidden from predators, more webbing between their toes to help with swimming through the water, along with developing claws to help with catching prey as well. One thing that hasn’t changed much about the frog is their legs, their legs only got a little thicker over time. Long legs with swimming as well as gliding. Another thing that may change is the way they reproduce, there may not be much vegetation on the surface around for them to lay their eggs, so they may lay them under or between rocks or underwater vegetation.
