Present Spider monkeys live in the high canopy in rainforests in Central and South America. They have long limbs and tails to help them swing from tree to tree. They eat fruits, leaves, flowers, and insects. Meanwhile, they are also very social animals and are also going extinct. Future Humans are cutting down rainforests to make room for housing, this impacts climate change because the carbon stored by trees is released back into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Thus this makes less room for creatures such as spider monkeys to live safely. Spider Monkeys will shrink in size to 11 inches so that they can live in shrubs or other small plants. Their fur will turn grey to blend in to keep them safe, and they will develop claws. Their food will be limited to small insects and berries.
