Gorillas live in the jungles of the Congo in Africa. Gorillas can walk on all fours and stand on their hind legs. They have opposable thumbs and big toes for grasping and climbing. Gorillas care for their young, sleep on piles of leaves, and eat plants. In the future, the jungle of the Congo will become a woodland. The diet of the gorillas would have to change to adapt to different types of plants or even become carnivorous, eating insects or mice. They would need to climb up into trees to get plants, and they would no longer be able to sleep on piles of leaves.
