Piranhas have many adaptations that help them to survive in their habitat. They have strong razor-sharp teeth that can tear through all types of animals [the shape of their teeth is sharp triangle size].shifting ocean currents and warming waters are change the distribution of fish stocks and altering the structure of ecosystems.Piranha lives in the Potomac river,Lake of the ozarks and lake winnebago.They have a strong sense of smell and can locate their prey in the water. Piranhas lose their teeth periodically, and new teeth grow in that are just as sharp as the old one. In the future the piranha’s habitat will change. They might be put up as prey more so they will have to adapt. To protect themselves from being eaten they might gain bigger teeth, acquire faster fins,live in rocks more,get more knowledge, and they might have different diets.
