Green Anacondas live in the tropical rainforests of South America and the Caribbean islands. They have a nose and eyes located at the top of their head to help them see and breath underwater. They are well adapted to wet, tropical wildlife and their bodies are olive green. Their camouflage is dark oval spots with yellow centers which help them blend in with the wet environment of their habitat. Due to climate change, the Green Anaconda will have to adapt to a new, dry environment. In the desert, Anacondas will have a tan color to blend in with the sandy terrain. Anacondas need to adapt to the new area by sneaking up on prey to catch food. They will also need small feet with sharp nails to move faster when predators are nearby. Green Anacondas have to change in many different ways in order to survive.
