Red bellied piranhas have many adaptations to help them survive. Some of these adaptations include sharp teeth for killing prey and swimming in schools to kill bigger prey. They live in rivers in South America, eating many things like, bits of flesh, small fish, insects, and many more. But due to global warming they will have to adapt. But since they now live in savannas they will have to adapt to the new climate and water conditions. They first will start to live in underground lakes, as there will be no bodies of water above ground. They then, of course, will adapt to have different homes. Their homes would be tiny holes in the walls of the underground lake, to protect themselves from predators. In conclusion, piranhas will need to adapt a lot to survive in the future which will make them very different from the piranhas we know today.
