Present and Future Chameleon

A chameleon is a reptile that lives in Asia, Europe, and Africa but mostly live in Madagascar. They spend their time in trees on branches and use their long tail to get to them. Chameleons can change color to blend in with their surroundings, therefore they won’t be pray for other animals. Chameleons like to eat insects such as grasshoppers, crickets, and flies. In the future, Madagascar will be flooded so I think chameleons will have a shorter tongue because they can still eat flies but will mostly eat small fish. Also when they will need to change their teeth so they can eat meat. They can still be able to change color but will mostly use blues because of the water. Chameleons will have webbed feet, tail, and not so sharp claws because they don’t need to climb trees anymore. This is what I think will happen in time.
