Dessert Elephant

Due to global warming the elephant which lives in the forest will become a dessert animal because the forest will vanish in the equatorial region. The eyes will develop a new transparent eye lid with long lashes to protect from sun and sand. The tusks will have no purpose and will vanish. The ears will become smaller so there is less surface area to prevent water loss from skin. The overall size of elephants will also be reduced. Its feet will become thin and long and will have spongy feet to walk on the sand without getting sucked in.it will develop a hump to store its food and water. The color will change from Grey to Brown due to the warm dessert.
