Adaption of the Coastal Taipan

In a thousand years, I think the Coastal Taipan would need to adapt to aquatic sea life due to the rising sea levels. The Coastal Taipan has dark or pale brown scales,but will need to be bluish- green to match the water and algae in the spring. Since the Amazon will turn into a marshland,The Coastal Taipan would need to obtain gills and a fin to be able to live in the water.The diet of the Coastal Taipan consist of birds,rodents, lizards.When The Coastal Taipan evolves, it's diet would mostly consist of the fish that live in the waters (Gilded catfish,flat-tailed catfish,Ect.).All the only real threat to the Coastal Taipan is humans,but in a thousand years it will need to watch out for carnivorous fish like piranhas.In order to keep Themselves safe, they should adapt to have poisonous plated backs to protect themselves from sharp toothed predators.
