Black Caiman

Black caimans must get bigger in order to adapt to a water world which will be in place in the future. Melting ice caps will raise the sea level significantly so that the caiman's habitat is completely underwater. The larger size will help them adapt to staying in the water 100% of the time instead their current habit of sleeping on land. A stronger, larger tail will propel them through the water and help them catch food more easily.
