The Scarlet Macaw lives in rainforests in Central and South America. The Scarlet Macaw eats nuts and fruit. They are colorful birds. Their natural predators are snakes, monkeys, jaguars, and eagles. The future scarlet macaw will have to live in the savannah and eat bugs to survive because there will be no fruit since most of the trees will be gone. It will be the same color as the ground so it will be hidden from predators. Since the macaw won’t be colorful anymore he will be called the savannah macaw. It will have stronger legs so he will be able to run away from predators as well as fly. He will need stronger claws to catch bugs and very good eyesight to see them and will need a sharper beak to eat the bugs. And that is how I think the Scarlet Macaw will change in the future.
