Soa-Soa Water Lizard

The soa-soa water lizard lives in the rainforests of the Philippines. If climate change continues, the ocean level will be higher and its habitat will be underwater. The lizard will need to become more like a marine iguana. It would have a thicker tail so it can move around in the water. Its feet would become webbed for swimming. The soa-soa water lizard currently eats plants, leaves, insects, and crustaceans. In the future, the lizard would need to start eating fish and more crustaceans.
