Hummingbirds are very small birds able to hide from predators. They are the only species of birds that have the ability to fly backwards. Hummingbirds can carry a good fraction of their weight, and still be able to fly with it. They can be found in many different colors. A hummingbird’s feathers are very vibrant and easy to see. They have a very small beak that is able to probe into flowers for nectar with their tongues, and catch flying insects for food. Due to climate change, the appearance of these birds will change. They will grow darker feathers to blend in with their surroundings to hide from predators. So they will no longer have their vibrant feathers. And their beaks will eventually become smaller and shorter so they can pick up seeds and smaller things with their beaks.
