The Agouti is a rodent-like creature. They have short, rough fur and have long legs. They have five toes on their front feet and three on their back. They usually live for about 17 years. The Agouti originated from Central and South American Rainforests, specifically the Amazon. They typically live in caves or hollow tree trunks. When they are looking to chill, they try to find a nice, small pool to relax in; this makes it easy to find food without making themselves a predator. This leads me to their diet. This consists of mostly fallen fruit from trees and nuts. Since they have a pretty non-social life, they should be able to live by themselves and live for a very long time.
