The Golden Poison frog lives in the forest, eats insects and usually stays on leaves, but sometimes goes on the ground. The color is to warn predators that it is poisonous. In the future people will pave over the land and build factories and smoke stacks destroying the habitat. The Golden Poison Frog will dig underground to make its own burrows. The frog will turn gray because it will camouflage for its surrounding of gravel. It will lose its ability to use poison which is another reason that it burrows in the ground. The Golden Poison frog will adapt by having longer legs so that it can dig further and jump longer distances. Instead of eating mainly insects above ground, they will eat worms and slugs underground.
