The Red Salamander is in-danger specie because people are killing insects so they don’t have enough food to eat. Insects are a very important part of its current diet. People is changing not only its energy source but also its environment. The rain forest is a great shelter for many animals, including the Red Salamander. See picture 1-Red salamander Current Habitat - Rainforest Red Salamanders can walk on land and swim in water. They eat little fish, worms, spiders, and insects. The Red Salamander will need to adapt to live in only in water. It will develop fins to help it swim. It also will change its diet to only fish.
