The Amazon River Dolphin or Boto lives in the Amazon rainforest rivers hunting its varied food diet, including different species of fish, shrimps, crabs and turtles. Where the dolphin lives now it doesn’t have many predators with the biggest threat being humans. Due to climate change I think it will get worse. The water level in rivers will drop due to evaporation. Boto will have to move to the ocean to stay in its aqua habitat. It will live in the depths of the warm parts of the ocean. The pink color will change to warm water blue, camouflaging it from the predators it now has. It will develop flatter, more rough teeth for eating and tearing plants. It will get stronger flippers to help move faster and still stay quiet. The skin will become rougher and hard to protect from bites and scratches.
