As rainforests dry up poison dart frogs will be required to save water. To do this a poison dart will develop thicker skin to hold in water. This will help them retain the water they can get. They will have to secrete thicker mucus to stay warm as the climate gets hotter. They will also reduce in size in order to conserve water. Their legs will have to get stronger in order to get between watering holes that are farther apart.
