The Hyacinth Macaw adapted to climate change through starting to shed feathers once every 2 weeks and growing head feathers for shade. Climate change drastically affected its ecosystem through wildfires being spread and invasive species entering the habitat. It has adapted to survive by having grippy toes, bright color vibrancy, low flap wings, powerful beaks, and excellent eyesight. These new adaptations help release heat from the macaw's body for it to survive and live freely in the rainforest in harmony with other birds.
