The hummingbird will adapt to have a duller coloration, with brown and grey pigments over the bright colors they have now, in order to blend in with their surroundings better. They will also have longer legs and a thicker beak, which will help hummingbirds feed in shallow water. The Amazon Rainforest will resemble a dry savanna more than a tropical rainforest after climate change, so hummingbirds will be able to live with less moisture and will feed on the nectar of savanna flowers, which will be readily available in their new environment. Lastly, the hummingbird will have bigger feathers to help with temperature regulation in their new climate.
