I have worked on using genetics to adapt the red-eyed tree frog and turn it into a creature capable of surviving easily in society in 50 or 100 years. This has been done by crossing the most adaptive frogs resulting in a new version of that frog that can walk on two legs and has an extremely heightened jumping ability. These new abilities will help it survive in the future because the ability to jump higher can help the frog reach taller and taller trees (while it's habitat is slowly being destroyed by humans). Walking on two legs is a natural adaption that helps with their ability to sprint on land and avoid predators.
