They will embrace camouflage enhancement, despite currently being bright-colored to warn off predators, in order to better blend in with altered surroundings. Poison dart frogs will also have coloration shift capabilities for improved thermoregulation. They will adapt to have a modified limb morphology, with thickly webbed feet and larger toe pads, to optimize mobility and climbing ability. The Amazon rainforest will resemble a dry savanna more than a tropical rainforest after climate change, so the poison dart frog's adaptations will allow it to survive better in the new environment and altered climate.
