The rainbow-billed toucan is a bird that lives in tropical rainforests from southern Mexico to Ecuador. The rainbow-billed toucan has many adaptations that help it live today. One adaption is its long beak which helps it reach fruit in trees and dig cavities to make a place for laying eggs. However, because of climate change, the rainbow-billed toucan is going to face challenges. Climate change will cause fires which will end up burning down trees. The new adaption the rainbow-billed toucan will have is bigger wings. Right now the toucan has small wings making it difficult to fly from place to place. With the lack of trees, the toucans will have to fly further to find places to live and get food. The larger wings will help with transportation. The toucans will also get brown feathers to add to their amazing camouflage abilities.
