The Spectacled Owl

The spectacled owl of the Amazon Rainforest is a nocturnal predator. The cover page shows the current animal. Now, after two hundred years, the rainforest has become hot and dry, and now prey is scarce. Only the most well-adapted owls live on --with longer wingspans to allow them to cover more area and have better agility, smaller bodies in need of less nutrients, lighter feathers to blend in better with trees, better night vision, and longer ears for greater heat reduction. They are harder, better, faster, and stronger. They are now migratory, as the prey populations have gone down and are never in the same place. To adapt or die, that is the law of nature.
