This is a Blue Poison Dart Frog that lives in the Amazon rain forest. With climate change and droughts among other things, it will have to adapt to survive. One adaptation will be that the blue poison dart frog will get longer, stronger legs. With the droughts, it will have to go further from plant to plant, and to find its next meals. These longer legs will be very important for the frog to survive in the future. Another adaptation is going to be that it will get thicker skin. This thicker skin will allow the blue poison dart frog to retain water better than its skin currently can. Also, it will gain more black spots on its back so that it can camouflage itself better. The blue poison dart frog and other animals will have to adapt and continue to adapt so that they can live through climate change.
