Okapis are usually hunted for their meat because it is delicious to the hunters and their skin because it could be used to make fluffy clothing. This hunting issue for the comfort and restoration of starvation caused a remain of five thousand to thirty thousand okapis left in the world. Instead of them living in the Ituri Rainforest in Africa, I recommend that they live in a birch tree rainforest that can let the okapis’ bottom blend in with the birch trees. Owning a security system to protect them is a good idea and will not reduce the amount of okapi and instead allow more in peace. My suggested adaptation and solution is that they need more zebra stripes at their ends to make them camouflage in a birch rainforest.
