The Amazon River Dolphin is an endangered species that has many problems that they are facing currently. Fishermen are specifically fishing RIver Dolphin for their blubber. This is a horrible thing happening to the droughts in the Amazon that only continue to get worse. On top of that, there is around a 2-degree water temp. above the dolphin's body temp. For future adaptation, the dolphins can become smaller with less blubber for less demand among fishermen. They will also have larger tails to swim faster as the current reason Dolphins swim so fast is with the force they create from the tail. The larger tail will create more force to avoid some of the fishermen. With less blubber, they will have less body heat to survive the rising temperatures of the Amazon.
