Amazon river dolphins are one of the most endangered animals in the Amazon rainforest. With the increasing climate change, the water temperatures are getting too high and the dolphins' skin is too sensitive. This results in their bodies getting affected and many of them are at a high risk of death. Pollution is also a problem because it affects their breathing and habitat. In this adaptation, they will have an extra layer of skin that can protect them from the heat, as well as a mouth covering for pollution. They will have an extra tail fin, and the whole tail fin will be bigger to swim faster away from predators and adjust easier to the change in water dynamics caused by dams.
