Upright spider monkey

Due to deforestation spider monkeys will need to adapt to an environment with less trees. adaptations: 1) smaller fingers, present day spider monkeys have very long fingers that are a result of adaptation to swinging from trees. If deforestation continues spider monkeys will no longer have a use for long finger and shorter fingers will be more optimal 2) shorter tails, present day spider monkeys have very long tails, if spider monkeys need to walk and run a shorter tail that doesn't drag when it walks would be better
