The Speedeleon Chameleon

The rainforest creature that I chose was the chameleon. The chameleon's present-day habitat includes many trees and plants. Due to climate change and global warming, their future habitat might have less tress, and as a result, more predators on the ground. Chameleons already have the ability to change colors, camera-like eyes, and long tongues to catch insects, so it's new adaptation is that they would move faster than other predators to be able to escape and get safe. It may take 50 or more years for a chameleon's habitat to change. they will live in its future habitat because of both their new and old adaptations.
