Right now, the Red-Eyed Tree Frog lives in a lowland tropical rain forest. They use the technique of startling coloration to scare predators so they can escape. They flash their bulging red eyes, reveal huge, webbed, orange feet, and their dark blue-yellow flanks. They are 2-3 inches in length, they have long legs, and toe-pads. As juveniles they are brown, as they grow up they turn into a bright green. Lastly, they eat grasshoppers, flies, moths, and crickets. In the future, the rain forest will become a desert/savanna due to a huge climate change. Since there will be no water, their toe-pads won't do anything so instead they will have claws/nails to dig into the sand. Their eyes would be a much brighter red to stun predators longer, their skin would be a darker green to camouflage into grass. They would have to eat grass instead of insects.
