Pygmy Hippo In The Future

Climate change has effected rainforests by making the temperature higher. Another thing climate change has effected would be less water and less plants as well as wild fires that lead to deforestation. This affects Pygmy Hippo's because They are nocturnal and the reason they are nocturnal is so they can keep there bodies from drying out so they go out into the cool night to eat for a few hours but since it is getting warmer they would loose there blubber and they would be more nocturnal this would make there eyes smaller and heighten all there other senses such as a longer nose and bigger ears. Another thing that will affect Pygmy Hippo's would be that there is less plants which is a crucial part of their diet due to them being herbivores and since there is less plants and more animals (invasive species) they will become carnivores.
