The Western Lowland Gorilla is a vertebrate mammal with thin gray-brown hair that lives in the tropical rainforest. Western lowland gorillas have a black coat, short thin hair and are the smallest subspecies of gorillas. They have no tail and broad shoulders, muscular necks, jet black skin and coarse hair. These gorillas are critically endangered and they have unique nose prints. They also have lots of hair on everything but their face. They communicate with odors, auditory signals and visual signals. The western lowland gorilla may be affected by rising temperatures. Because of this they may have to develop less hair so they do not overheat. They may also have to find new things to eat in case the things they eat now may die because of how hot it may be. They may also have to learn how to swim if the sea levels rise really high.
