Green tree pythons are bright shades of green in the present day to help them blend in with their environment. They live in the trees of lowland rainforests in Australia and Papua New Guinea. They have diamond shaped heads and thick almost rectangular bodies. This will all be changed in the future. The green tree python will look closer to the anaconda because it will become aquatic. Their bodies will round out and their heads will become flatter still like the anaconda. Their colors darken to blues and dark greens. They will start to swim and hunt in the water more because of this. Their diet will also change from eating rodents to fish. They will grow flatter and thinner to swim better in the water. They will grow smaller because of their environment to resemble other water snakes. They will keep their white or yellow bellies in the future.
