The okapi is a mammal that lives in rainforest. The okapi lives up to 20 to 30 years. The okapi is related to a giraffe. The okapi is an endangered species and are active during the day and night. They spend 30 to 50 percent of the day resting. The okapi would have to stop eating leaves if it got hotter and start eating grass to survive. the leaves would get too hot to eat. The okapi would only be active during the night if it got hotter because it would be cooler at night.
