The Poison Dart Frog lives in the rainforest on the forest floor. It's bright colors protect it from predators and it's skin is poisonous. It eats insects and moves in short hops. If climate change makes the rainforest a savanna in 1,000 years, the poison dart frog will adapt to it's new habitat. I think it's skin will change to tan to camouflage with the grassland, but it can also change back to it's bright colors to warn off predators when it needs to. It's skin will still be poison. It's toes will change into claws for digging to find nests of ants and scorpions underground to eat. It will burrow to stay cool during the dry season and it will look for ponds during the rainy season. It's legs will become stronger and it will move in longer hops making it faster.
