Capybara

The animal I chose is a Capybara. Capybaras live in the rainforest and eat lots of grass and plants. I think in the future, the rainforest will turn into an arctic tundra. Future Capybaras will need to have sharper teeth to eat other animals because the snow will have covered the grass and killed it. Capybaras will also live in dens under the snow, so they will need to have thicker fur. They will need sharper claws to dig out their new homes too. Lastly, Capybaras will need to have their eyes closer to the front so they can see where their prey is located.
