Ocelot

The animal I chose is the ocelot. Ocelots live in the rainforests in South America and eat small rodents. In the future, I believe the rainforest will have much more water on the ground making it swampy. Future ocelots will need to have webbed feet because their new food source will be fish and crustaceans. They will also develop otter-like fur so they can swim quicker under the water. Ocelots teeth will become more pointy and sharper so they chew through fish skin and crustaceans shells. The most unique change to the ocelots will be a colorful bait-like thing attached to the end of their tails. This will allow them to attract prey like a fishing rod much like the thing dangling from the head of an anglerfish. The color of their fur and their spots will remain the same.
