Mer-lot

My animal is an ocelot. Right now they are thriving in tropical rainforests in South America, Central America, and Mexico! When they hunt, they mainly hunt on the ground. They prey mainly on small rodents, but may also devore birds, iguanas, and other lizards. They use their legs to move around. They are also nocturnal, therefore, they hunt during the duration of the night. My ocelot will adapt to having a mermaid tail, change their color to black and white, and gills, and eat small fish. It adapts to have a mermaid tail so that it can swim faster. The color changes so that it can blend in with the ocean. They have gills to breathe in water. It will dig holes to sleep in as well.
