The Sloth Present VS. Future

In the future, things will get worse because of climate change and global warming. The current sloth has lots of fur, lives above ground, and eats leaves, fruit, and sometimes bird eggs, and they live in the Amazon rainforest. In the future though, there will be a lot of changes to the sloth. Some of the changes are that they will lose fur/shed to cool off because of the heat and less rainfall, and the other change is that the sloth will have to dig underground to be away from the heat. The sloth will also have to change its diet by eating mostly bugs because most of the leaves will be gone and fruit will be dried up from the heat. The sloth might also become very highly endangered because the diet change will be very hard for the sloth to adapt.
